(ἡμῶν) joy may be full” or “that your (ὑμῶν) joy may be full.” The exegetical difference between these two alternatives may not blow shingles off the roof, but there is indeed a difference. It involves the author’s attitude: is he (or she?) adopting a slightly patronizing tone (“your joy”), an embracing tone (“our joy” [yours and ours]), or perhaps even a slightly exclusive tone (“our joy” [but not yours])?
